What Psychology Reveals About the Brain, Behavior, and Beyond

What Psychology Is and How It Works

Explore the foundations of psychological science and the research methods psychologists use to study human behavior. Research two psychological perspectives and evaluate their real-world applications and ethical implications.

How the Brain Drives Behavior

Examine the nervous system, the reward pathway, and how drugs influence brain function and behavior. Analyze the psychological mechanisms behind motivation and evaluate the implications of drug use on addictive behavior.

Perception, Attention, and the World Around You

Discover how perception and attention shape the way you interact with your environment and the systems around you. Apply human factors psychology to develop a design proposal for a real-world product or system.

The Science Behind Memory and Learning

Study how the brain encodes, retains, and retrieves information and the factors that influence memory across the lifespan. Identify evidence-based memory strategies and develop a personalized learning plan applying those techniques.

Social Connection, Identity, and the Brain

Trace how social interaction fulfills fundamental human needs and activates the brain's reward pathway. Investigate how online communities and social media influence identity formation, well-being, and consumer behavior.
